Maintenance Of Semi-Trailer Air Suspension

Air spring

• It is recommended to check frequently, especially in harsh environments such as driving on asphalt road in summer, driving on muddy road after rain, and pay attention to keeping the airbag and its piston clean.

• Check whether the airbag surface is damaged (surface crack, wear, wrinkle, surface foreign matter).

• If the airbag is damaged or leaked, please replace it immediately.

• Check the fastening of airbag connecting bolts. If they are loose, please lock them according to the torque

Shock absorber

• It is recommended to check once a quarter.

• Check the fastening of the upper and lower connections of the shock absorber, and use the torque wrench to check whether the locking torque is reached.

• Check the tightness of the shock absorber and replace it in case of oil leakage.

• Check whether the shock absorber works normally. You can touch whether the shock absorber surface is hot after driving for a long time. If it is hot, it indicates that the shock absorber works normally. (Note: Please note that the shock absorber may be hot when touching). Otherwise, it indicates that the shock absorber has failed and must be replaced.

Leaf spring connecting bolt and U-shaped bolt

• It is recommended to retighten the new car with a torque wrench after driving 1000 km, and then check it every quarter.

• If looseness is found, lock the nut diagonally and alternately.

Axle lifting device

• It is recommended to check once a quarter.

• Check the rubber buffer block on the lifting support for wear. If it is seriously worn, replace it.

• Check whether the upper and lower connecting bolts of the lifting airbag are loose. Lock with a wrench if necessary.

Air piping system

• It is recommended to check once a quarter.

• Check the air tightness of valve body and pipeline interface and whether the installation is fastened and there is a non-destructive ring. (Note: soapy water can be applied to the valve body and pipeline interface. If bubbles occur, it indicates air leakage and the seal must be locked again.)

• Check whether the height valve adjusting rod has a non-destructive ring and is locked. Refer to "installation of air suspension height control valve" for the included angle between the valve body swing rod and the straight rod during balance

Check of FH value

• Quarterly inspection is recommended.

• The FH value has been set when the trailer leaves the factory, and the user must regularly verify it according to the FH value specified by the trailer factory to keep it consistent with that when the trailer leaves the factory
